What is the limit of bringing Liquids on Flights?

There has been a broad-spectrum of questions while flying as to why liquid cannot be brought on a flight, what all can be brought, why restrict and blah-blah. Due to safety reasons, a policy has been established regarding the quantity of a drinking water, gel items and tooth paste to be carried in passenger’s luggage. There is a limit defined as how much should be the capacity of liquid to be carried on flight. You are not allowed to carry more than 100ml / 100 grams of liquid. If you are carrying liquid it should be placed inside sealed plastic bag with a capacity of not more than 1 liter. Single passenger can carry one bag at a time containing one liquid item.

The Transport security administration has given special permission to carry prescribed medicines such as Insulin, contact lens solutions and eye drops, vitamins etc to the passengers. If a traveler is carrying a baby in board, 100ml of baby food, milk or juice is allowed. But such items need to go through the process of security check thoroughly. There is also a limit regarding carrying makeup in your luggage such as liquid mascara, nail paints and lip gels. This stuff has to be placed in a plastic bag in three-ounce or smaller containers. Just to save yourself from getting parted with your favorite things at the airport, it’s better to be cautious and keep all the above mentioned rules in mind.
